Accredit Solutions provides end-to-end software for the accreditation of all workforce, media, broadcast, athletes, performers and officials at stadiums, festivals and large-scale events.

Its feature-rich platform allows organisations to set levels of personnel security and risk-based data collection while removing pain points for venue owners and event organisers, with tools for data registration and document collection, data review & vetting, automated background checking with external sources, badge printing, access control and tracking.

Our £10mn investment will be used drive further expansion and strategic new penetration into the business’ core markets gloablly.

Investment rationale

Since its launch in 2017, Accredit Solutions has seen rapid growth, gaining an international reputation as a leading sporting and major event accreditation platform. Its customer base is made up of top sports teams and governing bodies including The Football Association, The German Football Association, International Cricket Council (ICC) and Professional Golfers Association (PGA). It also has a strong presence across the NFL, working with nine teams including the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

In recent years, the business has also expanded beyond sporting events into other sectors, including music and cultural events such as the Brit Awards as well as high-profile public and corporate events including The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Expo 2020 Dubai and COP28.

Investment Partner

Greg sources and executes investments into fast-growing businesses and is our resident consumer expert. He combines a natural flair for understanding the drivers of brand value, insight into wider market dynamics and strong corporate finance experience.

I first got into growth investing because it has afforded me the opportunity to work and build relationships with some incredibly talented entrepreneurs and ambitious management teams to support them on their growth journey.

Greg joined Gresham House Ventures in 2021 and has been part of the Mobeus VCTs team since 2013.

Previous investments and Board positions include Virgin Wines, MPB, Rotageek and Buster + Punch.

Greg’s previous roles include investments at Piper Private Equity and Corporate Finance at PwC. He holds a BA/ ACC in Business Studies and Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAS).

Outside of work, Greg enjoys a range of sports including golf, tennis and skiing, would secretly love to be a DJ, and has a passion for travel.

Matt Mead

Venture Partner

Matt joined GHV in 2021 and the Mobeus VCT team in 2019.

He has over 25 years’ experience in early stage and scale-up technology investing.

It is a real privilege to work with so many great businesses and management teams and support them in their growth ambitions.

Matt was a Partner in 3i’s technology investment business and held Chief Investment Officer roles at the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA) and Mercia Asset Management.

Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time with his family, most sports, mainly spectating now but still playing golf, cricket and tennis.

Joe Savage

Investment Manager

Joe joined Gresham House Ventures as Investment Manager in September 2024.

Prior to joining GHV, Joe spent 3 and a half years working at Clearwater Corporate Finance as an M&A advisor. He was primarily focused on raising first-round institutional investment for high-growth businesses based in the UK, including Accredit Solutions where he worked closely with GHV on their investment. He also holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys travelling, spending time with his friends and exploring a new (but infuriating) passion for golf.
