Cloud-based, data-driven scheduling technology

Rotageek’s intelligent software is used across the UK – by high-street names like The Perfume Shop, Dune, Pets at Home and O2 – to effectively schedule staff, provide better cover for shifts and manage leave during busy periods.

Their software was offered for free to NHS hospitals nationwide to help healthcare teams impacted by the onset of COVID-19. As a result, the business has won its first NHS contracts.

Having first invested in Rotageek in 2018, we co-led a £6mn new investment round in 2020 and led a £3mn investment round in June 2022, alongside Calculus Capital and Volution.

We invested a further £0.7mn in November 2023 to accelerate the company’s growth and new technology development.

Investment rationale

Rotageek continues to develop its advanced data-driven solutions and recruit experienced specialists in development and customer service.

By improving hospital staff planning, Rotageek is helping health administrators respond more effectively to increasing patient levels and ensures necessary access to care is available.
