Proximity helps retailers to increase efficiency and personalisation with every interaction.

Their ‘Retail Super-App’ empowers associates to organise their day, curate customer moments and transact wherever stock or customers may be.

The solution delivers feature rich ‘clienteling’ and omnichannel services including appointment booking, events, live chat, video chat alongside transact capability such as basket, payments, and checkout.

Proximity (previously known as Proximity Insight) customers include brands such as Selfridges, John Lewis, David Jones, Orlebar Brown, MCM Worldwide, Rodd & Gunn, Lafayette 148, DAFC and Cambridge Satchels Company.

We invested £5 million in March 2022, with the investment led by Joe Krancki

 

Investment rationale

The funding will be used to expand Proximity’s sales and marketing team, build a significant presence in North America and further develop its SaaS product.

In addition to providing growth capital, our team will leverage its expertise in the digital consumer space to advise Proximity on strategic growth opportunities and support senior recruitment by providing access to its deep network of retail and technology sector professionals.
