Our £4mn investment came as part of a round co-led with existing investor Molten Ventures.

Molten and FocalPoint chose Gresham House Ventures to co-lead the round based on the strength of their relationships with the deal team and our reputation as a reliable value-add partner.

We made a £0.9mn follow-on investment in December 2023 which will be used to accelerate the company’s growth and new technology development.

Investment rationale

FocalPoint’s proprietary technology applies advanced physics and machine learning to reduce costs and dramatically improve satellite-based location sensitivity, accuracy, and security in smartphones, wearables and vehicles.
