Gresham House Ventures is delighted to welcome Rohit Mathur as Investment Partner. In his new role, Rohit will work to identify and execute venture capital investments at large Series A stages and beyond with a specific focus on fintech, SaaS, and AI-first technology companies. These sectors are key priority areas for our Baronsmead and Mobeus VCTs as well as our Gresham House Private Equity Release Fund.
Prior to joining, Rohit Mathur was an Investment Partner at Digital Horizon VC, where he led the firm’s global fintech investments. His previous investments include Adsum Technologies, Refyne Technologies, Honest Bank, WealthKernel, and many others. He previously spent over a decade at Barclays Bank London, where he held several senior roles, including leading Barclays’ Venture Capital unit. During his tenure at Barclays, he held a variety of Product Management, Strategy and Commercial roles across Business Banking, Corporate and Private Banking. Before Barclays, he worked with EY as a Management Consultant advising Financial Services clients.
Rohit has also held a range of non-executive director roles with start-ups and education institutions, including as a member of the Global Alumni Board of Manchester Business School. He holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a BEng from Agra University in India.
